UK Engage to attend Congress for the first time since becoming approved to administer trade union elections and ballots.
UK Engage will be among the exhibitors and delegates to attend the TUC Congress 2018 in its 150th year in Manchester from 9-12th September 2018. Being a leading election services provider, the event offers an excellent opportunity to meet trade unions from across the country in our home city, and the birthplace of the TUC. Our team will be exhibiting at Stand 20 in the exhibition part of Congress.
Part of the Print Image Network Group, which provides electoral printing services for no fewer than 80 councils across the country, UK Engage provides Independent Scrutineer services for statutory and non-statutory trade union elections and ballots. Our services include both printed and digital ballot solutions, in addition to member engagement services which encourage trade union members to participate in democratic processes.
Andy Tye, General Manager at UK Engage remarked “As one of the few government-approved scrutineers permitted to administer statutory trade union elections and ballots in the country, we are looking forward to exhibiting at the TUC Congress 2018 for the first time. Having such a strong heritage in electoral print solutions, plus our internal legislative expertise, means we are one of the best-placed scrutineers to carry out all types of elections for trade unions.”
He continued, “In addition, as a leading provider of secure digital voting solutions, we are very encouraged at Sir Ken Knight’s review of electronic voting for industrial action ballots. We administer electronic voting for all types of non-statutory organisational election and ballots and hope that one day soon, we will be able to provide trade unions with the same benefits that electronic voting provides to thousands of organisations across the country.”
During the TUC Congress 2018, circa 2000 delegates will pass through the doors of the Manchester Central Convention Complex to decide on priorities for the coming year through discussion and debate. We will be showcasing our ballot and member engagement solutions for trade unions between 9-12 September 2018 at Stand 20.
